The Chamber could not have done it without the support of its members, so thank you to all who attended. The evening program included a report on the Chamber's last year and future goals by President, Michael Stieglitz (McDonald's), followed by a presentation by keynote speaker Rick Weinheimer. Then on to the fun stuff — awards!

The Brown County Democrat was named 2016 Chamber Business of the Year. As one of, if not the oldest continuous running businesses in Brown County, The Democrat serves as a vital source of communication for our county, both in print and digitally. A much deserved congratulations goes to the staff of The Democrat.

The Chamber introduced a new award this year — the Brown County Beautification Awards. With help from the Brown County Garden Club and Keep Brown County Beautiful, the Beautification committee selected two businesses that exemplified beauty in the areas of Buildings & Signage and Landscaping & Flowers. The Buildings & Signage award went to the Brown County Art Gallery, in appreciation of their extensive additions to a Nashville landmark. In the Landscaping & Flowers category Cornerstone Inn was recognized for their beautiful blooms and unique landscaping.

The Chamber would also like to thank:
